Albuquerque, hot air balloon fiesta!

    this is an easy reading article mainly for you who are ready to begin studying English, waiting for the groups to be complete. 

    Anyone else who wants to practice English and participate in our blog is very, very  welcome with comments, answers and questions too.  

    Do you know of any similar festivals in Italy even if much, much smaller?

    Where are vthey? Have you ever been there? What do you usually do when you go to festivals in the open air? 

    In just two days this "Fiesta", or festival is going to start in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

    Is there anyone who has ever been there?

    What are the most spectacular activities?

    How can you describe them?

    Say something about the balloons' different sizes and shapes.

    I read with intrest the news about a hot air balloon fiesta in Albuquerque because I had an experience of air balloon flight! it was a wonderful experience!It happened three years ago in Turkey,more precisely in Cappadocia.It was very exciting to rise on the sky at dawn up to two thousand meters,flyng over the Fairy Chimneys( wich are special mushroom-shaped rocks),observing a spectacular view and Landing after two hours.As souvenir I have had a "Flyght Certificate" of "Anatolian Balloons Organization"

    Good morning, this event is very surprise.
    In Italy we have the Ferrara balloon festival in september. I would be nice to do a light flight!

    Hi everybody!
    This article is very interesting and funny!
    The festival is really unique i think, i have never been at a similar event... these balloons are enormous and beautifully coloured, with different fantastic shapes, and i imagine a spectacular effect in the sky.
    I would like to go there in the future, i love to go to festivals in open air with friends.
